We had such a warm welcome from @emcandre and the whole @OpenEdEdinburgh team today! Thanks for the fascinating insight into the backend of the project (and windows into other projects) and for all the tea and flapjacks! #MSUDH

Ewan McAndrew @emcandre

Delighted to welcome @kmapesy and her @michiganstateu Digital Humanities students to our humble @OpenEdEdinburgh office abode nestling beneath Edinburgh Castle 🏰 to discuss @wikidata and all things witchy as we look to improve our Map of Scottish Accused Witches site this Summer

Some amazing and worthwhile work from @JustinLSimard! featured @MSUGlobalDH! #MSUDH #DH

The Citing Slavery Project @CitingSlavery

Prof. Simard, Director of the Citing Slavery Project, introduced change to the Bluebook, which now requires cases involving slavery to be identified.
“This forces judges and lawyers to confront the fact that they’re relying on slavery.” - @JustinLSimard
