Rebecca Tegtmeyer

Rebecca is an Assistant Professor of Graphic Design in the Department of Art, Art History, and Design at Michigan State University. Through her active research, writing, making, and teaching agenda she investigates the role of a designer and the design process through a variety of forms—from static to dynamic, time-based to print, individual to collaborative. She has presented her work nationally and internationally as well as contributed to DesignInquiry and {MoDe} Motion Design Education Summit. Prior to working in academia she worked in loyalty, retail, and consumer branding strategies at Hallmark Cards Inc. in Kansas City, MO. Rebecca holds a BFA in Visual Communication from the University of Kansas and a Master of Graphic Design (MGD) from NC State University College of Design. She is a Co-Founder of the Experience Architecture program in the College of Arts and Letters.
