Stokes Schwartz

Stokes Schwartz teaches an array of IAH courses on topics as diverse classic Film Noir of the mid-20th century, contemporary global cinema, Scandinavian and Nordic cinema, Scandinavian and Nordic crime fiction, Henrik Ibsen and social problem dramas, Modern Scandinavian and Nordic writers, Scandinavian and Nordic women authors, the films of Ingmar Bergman, and 21st century films by and about women from around the world. He uses numerous whiteboard animation explainer videos plus a variety of collaborative digital projects not only to motivate and engage his students, but also to help them cultivate a variety of real world skills that will serve them in the globalized, digital workplace of the 21st century after graduation.
